For the second part of our special ‘Shades of East’ night, Hertfordshire Chorus - one of the finest and most adaptable large choirs in Britain - presents a programme of Eastern-inspired opulence including works by Rachmaninov, Whitacre, Nyman and Taverner. This programme provides an insight into some of the incredible sound worlds of the East, led by the chorus’ conductor David Temple.
This concert will be preceded by a short performance in the foyer at 19:45 by the stunning vocal trio, Voice. Their set will include a selection of their old and new Eastern European inspired material.
