The London A Cappella International Summer School provides a platform for singers to perform with like-minded, enthusiastic singers under the guidance of world-class tutors from a range of vocal backgrounds. Suitable for groups and individuals alike, including workshops and performances from some of the finest international a cappella performers such as Swingle Singers and educators in the industry, it promises to be a vocal experience like no other.

Course fee: £395; Early bird offer: £350; 10% discount available for students and groups of four or more (discounts are available on the full course fee only and there are a limited number of early bird tickets)

Take the Stage

The London A Cappella Festival 2013, in association with The Voice Festival UK, presents Take the Stage – a showcase of some of the UK’s best up and coming a cappella talent. Vocal groups from schools and communities across the region will come together for a day of workshops given by experts in the field, culminating in a joint performance in the main hall at Kings Place. The event will be presented by members of the Swingle Singers and is open to family and friends.

The festival team are delighted to announce the line-up for London A Cappella Festival 2013 at Kings Place!
24th - 26th January 2013
The London A Cappella Festival 2013 will showcase some of the best of choral, jazz and contemporary ensembles, with music ranging from choral masterpieces to jaw-dropping beatbox and Nordic folk to retro pop. Headline acts include the slick vocal stunts of The Magnets, the virtuosic Rajaton from Finland, cornerstones of the British choral scene The King’s Singers as well as festival hosts the Swingle Singers, who will be kicking off their 50th anniversary celebrations. Not to mention performances by leading university choral group the Choir of Clare College Cambridge, Danish vocal innovators Postyr, and Canadian favourites Retrocity. There will also be a series of workshops, foyer performances, talks and interactive events.
