London A Cappella Festival : LACF Kids

London A Cappella Festival is delighted to announce the launch of LACF Kids – a brand new arm of the Festival aimed directly at primary school children. During LACF 2015, LACF Kids will see the whole afternoon of Saturday 31 January 2015 dedicated to fun performances, workshops, and other exclusive events within the new LACF Kids Zone at Kings Place.

LACF Kids Zone – opens at 12 noon

Singing Playgrounds: 1pm

Join in this award-winning workshop from British choir Ex Cathedra (for 7-11 year olds). Learn & play singing games from around the world, whilst developing musical & leadership skills, self- confidence & turn-taking - all while having fun! The workshop ends with a performance in the foyer for parents & LACF audience. Due to safeguarding, children will need to be accompanied by a parent/carer during the workshop. Tickets for the workshop are strictly limited.

FCMG: 12.45pm & 2pm

Finchley Children’s Music Group (FCMG) is one of the UK’s leading youth choirs, for ages 4 to 18 years old. We are delighted to welcome their Intermediate Choir (7 - 10 years and Senior Choir 9 - 18 years) to LACF Kids in a showcase of their incredible talents and proving what can be achieved with the voice from a young age!

Countermeasure 2.30pm

The fresh face of a cappella, Canada’s Countermeasure bring to LACF their upbeat sound, hilarious stage antics and infectious energy, in their UK debut. Exclusive ticket deals as part of LACF Kids give discounted entry to the Countermeasure concert for workshop participants and their families.
