Continuing the overwhelming popularity and success of last year’s workshop series, enthusiastic singers and choirs of all ages and abilities are invited to join industry experts, founders and professionals in a series of workshops focusing on various aspects of singing and a cappella performance. 16:30 – 17:30 Workshop 4: Curtains Up
Join Ben Parry as he presents a workshop exploring performance techniques, song interpretation and stage presence. Offering practical tips & tricks of the trade, Ben will look at making a performance as visually compelling as it is musically. Ben Parry has made over fifty CD recordings as conductor, singer and producer and his music is published by Peters Edition and Faber Music. Ben is co-Director of professional choir London Voices, and worked with Sir Paul McCartney on his classic choral work, Ecce Cor Meum, as well as conducting and singing on the soundtracks of a number of major Hollywood films such as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 & 2 and Iron Man 2. As a singer he has worked with Taverner Consort, Gabrieli Consort and Tenebrae and was a singer and music director with the Swingle Singers.
