Christopher Diaz will explore what makes a great arrangement tick looking at characteristics of the many different genres of a cappella and arming you with the knowledge to recreate any style from pop & jazz to folk & reggae. Looking at instrumentation, harmony, vocal percussion, groove and more, learn how to work with the different voices in a group, how to choose the right songs to arrange, and how to make each song your own.
Joining us from the USA, co-founder and co-host of the Mouth Off podcast Christopher Diaz is a member of the music staff at The Sing-Off, works with Alliance for A Cappella Initiatives and is CASA’s Director of Public Relations. He is a CARA nominator and judge, ICCA judge and producer, and freelance arranger, & clinician.
