For pure “acappellatude” look no further than Canadian a cappella sensations, Retrocity. Performing your favourite tunes from the 80s and beyond – from Sting to Salt ‘n’ Pepa – Retrocity cover a vast musical vintage. From jazz, through soul to funk, the group captures an astonishing and utterly unique range of instrumental imitations.
Retrocity will be supported by Vive, a 6-part a cappella group intent on re-imagining the close-harmony jazz/spiritual/acapella sound, performing live on stage around London with guest jazzers such as Jacqui Dankworth.
