About us & your visit

The London A Cappella Festival is the first of its kind in the captial dedicated to the many forms of a cappella (meaning unaccompanied/just using the voice). Curated by the world-famous 5-time Grammy-wining vocal group the Swingle Singers and Ikon Arts Management, its main aim is to broaden the appeal of a cappella performance to as many different kinds of audiences across the capital and beyond, through concerts, free performances, and educational work, all under one roof.

CURATORS

Swingle Singers
The Swingle Singers are legendary in the world of vocal groups. With their roots in 1960’s close harmony arrangements of both classical (Bach) and contemporary (Beatles) pieces, the group is now recognised as setting the standard of a cappella singing across the world. The Swingle Singers’ performances take them from the Royal Albert Hall to Ronnie Scotts and everywhere in between. The Swingle Singers boast 5 Grammy Awards and a catalogue of over 50 recordings, of which Ferris Wheels is the newest, perhaps most innovative release to date. Today’s incarnation of Swingle Singers are young, sexy and unbelievably talented - and are committed to bringing the versatile world of a cappella to the masses.
Ikon Arts Management
Ikon Arts Management is a forward-thinking music management agency representing some of the finest artists in the world. With over 15 years' experience in music management Ikon Arts Management develops world-wide concerts and tours, special projects and events for some of the worlds leading a cappella vocal groups and diverse contemporary ensembles.
